Tutorial Ivanti : How to create a query/report to get how many agents have been applied a specific patch?

Background : 

This document guides you how to create a query/report to get how many agents have been applied a specific patch.

Step by Step : 

The example is to query how many agents have applied 4012212v2_MSU by querying the inventory - Patch and Compliance Definitions.


#1 : In console - Queries, right click My queries or Public queries and click "New Query".



#2 : Name the query. Select the Vulnerability ID under Patch and Compliance Definitions. Customize the filter as you like.
The example here is :

"Computer"," Patch and Compliance Definitions","Vulnerability ID"="4012212v2_MSU"

Select the Columns you want to use in the query and save the query.


#3 : Run the query and it should give you the result.


#4 : You may double-click the agent to check the inventory information. As displays, the Patch Currently Installed attribute is 1 of 4012212v2_MSU.

#5 : If you like this query run on schedule such as run weekly and save as CSV file. You may right click the query and create a new report from the query.



#6 : Right click the report and schedule the format you want, such as CSV.

#7 : You may change the Schedule and Recipients such as email to someone or put the files in a folder.

The default reports folder is:  \\CORE\ldmain\reports
